TESTIMONY
I was privileged to grow up in a Christian home and have attended church my entire life. Through their faithful walk with God, my parents modeled the Christian life to me. Although I wasn’t in open rebellion in my teenage years, my heart was hard and I was not following God. By God’s grace in a Sunday evening church service when I was 18 years old, I recognized my life of sin and God’s call to leave my old life and to follow Him. My life has never been the same. Throughout the years, my faith and understanding have grown and I am blessed to be a part of this local church body since early 2015. God has blessed me with a loving wife, Lorita and two wonderful children, Emma and Noah. Together as a family, we strive to bring glory to God in thankfulness for his steadfast love towards us.
A verse that has guided me throughout the many seasons of my life is from Matthew 6:33 where Jesus says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This verse was written in the front of my Bible by my Dad that was gifted to me as a young child. I thank God that He called me to serve Him and I endeavour to abide in the faith and bring glory to Him through my life.
